Morrow Home Holds Intergenerational Boat Races

Morrow Memorial Home's Annual Intergenerational Boat Race took place on July 1.

School age children of Young at Heart Child Care and residents worked on building their own sail boat for the annual event. Pictured are Morrow Home resident Clayton Scafe and Young at Heart's Logan Perry competing in the race. Resident Leona Hemmersbach is in the background observing.

Morrow Home Center Courtyard in Full Bloom July 2010

In the center of the Morrow Home’s nursing home 1st floor is an area open to the outdoors for the residents to come and enjoy the ever changing colors of the flowers in bloom and sounds of the summer breeze. Pictured above are (left) staff, Michelle Newman and (right) Fern Olsen, Homestead apartment resident. We extend a big Thank You to Michelle and Fern for all their hard work in making our Courtyard a beautiful and peaceful place to be. July 2010
