Our vision is to provide the highest quality therapy services for residents of the Morrow Home. Staff is knowledgeable and well trained in multiple techniques and modalities focused on maximizing clients’ quality of life and function. Speech Therapy –Provided by CMB Rehabilitation, Inc.

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) are professionally educated to evaluate and treat a wide variety of speech, language and swallowing disorders for individuals of all ages.

A SLP can help individuals “who can’t find the words” due to articulation, language, voice or cognitive impairment. These cognitive disorders may be revealed as difficulty in orientation (day, month, year or place), sequencing (step by step procedure), and problem solving (determining the best alternative). SLP’s may develop a treatment plan to relearn communication and memory strategies, which may occur following a stroke or head injury. For some, regaining or maintaining the ability to communicate may mean utilizing alternative methods ranging from simple communication books or boards to body movements or up to date electronic equipment.

Swallowing problems are treated by the SLP to allow for the enhancement of comfort, nutrition and hydration as well as reduce the risk of respiratory complications.
At Morrow Home Speech-Language Pathology is available daily. Physicians determine the frequency with joint efforts made with all staff members determining what most meets their needs. Payment for such services is obtained from Medicare, Private Insurance and Medicaid.

The Speech-Language Pathology staff has been providing service to this facility for greater than twenty years. The commitment is to provide the highest quality of care in a home atmosphere, as well as provide education and support to the staff, residents and family members.
