Pastoral Care

Ministering to Physical Needs

Morrow Memorial Home and Apartments is equipped to manage a wide range of health care needs... from simple medication administration on up to rehabilitative and restorative nursing care. Many residents require multiple forms of specialized health care. To maximize the benefits of such care and to serve the needs of the individual as a whole person, we utilize person-centered care.

This approach opens communication among each resident's various caregivers and helps develop the most effective coordinated program for that individual.

Good nutrition is particualy essential to the health and well-beling of the elderly. We are well know for serving our residents atract, delicious, as well as nutritious meals.

Active involvement is a hallmark of our care. We belive that having our residents up, dressed, and well-groomed each day has a remarkable, positive effect on their health and outlook.

Ministering to spiritual needs

As Christians, we belive that faith sustains both body and soul, so you will find that spiritual health and enrichment play an integral part in the care provided at Morrow memorial Home and Apartments.

Area pastors lead regular group worship services, participate in Bible studies, and provide individual counseling. In addition, a unique program involving sensory stimulation provides a worship opportunity for those who mental faculties are impaired.

Our Director of Pastoral Care also mainstains close relationships with local pastors to see that the spiritual needs of all our residents and tenants are fulfilled.

Additional Ministries

Olive Branch special Care Household

We provide specialized dementia care serves for twelve residents in the Olive Branch special Care Household. Dementia Cares Servies Special Care Households are designed specifically for the dementia resident. Dementia-trained caregivers provide care in a home-like setting while excessive stimulation is limited. Activites focus on resident's strengths to promote their quality of life. In addition, family support and education are available to help familes cope with their loved one's disease

Morrow Meals in Motion

Comfort End-of-Life Care

At Morrow Memorial Home, our 24-hour-a-day nursing staff will provide special care for the end-of-life resident. We work closely with the physician to assure the highest level of comfort is provided with dignity and compassion.

Respite Care

We offer short-term care to allow family caregivers a break in full-time caring

Guest Rooms

We have 4 guest rooms availabel, at a very resonable rate, for guest visiting our residents and tenants.

On-site Therapy

Quality physical, occupational, and speech therapy services are available within our facility.

Developmentally Disabled Young Adult Day Camp

Riverfront Inc. provides interesting activities for up to 8 young adults on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
